Detectives were called to assist with the investigation, according to police. Officers initially thought Stone would not survive the stabbing. However, once he arrived at the hospital, medical staff was able to stem the bleeding, and he is expected to survive, the Sacramento Bee reported. It’s unclear if anyone else was injured. Police on Thursday were looking for two men wearing white T-shirts and blue jeans, last seen driving away in a newer model, dark-color Toyota Camry.
