Oct. 22-23: Giampaolo Bisanti, who led a vibrant program this season, conducts Stravinsky’s “Petrushka” and Beethoven’s Violin Concerto No. 1, with soloist Ju-Young Baek, returning to the orchestra for the fourth time. Dec. 3-4: Pianist Jon Nakamatsu returns for his sixth set of programs with SSV, this time performing Chopin’s Concerto No. 1. Jose-Luis Novo conducts the program, which includes works by Kodaly, Milhaud and Marquez. (On Dec. 2, Nakamatsu will also perform a “concital” — a solo recital in the first half, and a concerto performance with the orchestra after intermission.).
